I’m a closet romantic.
Things tend to catch me off guard. Beautiful things. A poem about love on a winters day, a story of star crossed lovers, a loving glance or touch, intimate words spoken or even a simple hug (though, hugs are never simple are they?).
They are there, these beautiful moments. You just have to look a little deeper, a little closer, a little longer. And when you find it, let it linger.
That will and always has been my philosophy when capturing images. There is no greater honour then to be entrusted with observing and documenting people in love, to be able to witness these moments unfolding in their story. I always remind myself to never take that fact for granted.
This is a re-branding of The Beautiful Moment mostly on a aesthetic level (like the new logo?) but I was recently reminded by a bunch of awesome people (you know who you are) that what really matters is the heart. The heart of it all. Why we do what we do. To represent love.
