Jade from Time Taken to Make a Dress reached out to me with regards to shooting her little sister’s wedding, and she wanted it to be a gift for her as well. I was thrilled to help (Jade did an awesome job with my wife’s gowns too!).
I first met Ivan and Kim a few months back for coffee and we decided that we would do a simple engagement shoot before their actual wedding day. It was during the engagement shoot that I got to know them both a little better and through their interaction with one another, I could tell that they definitely had something special going for them. Stolen glances and warm embraces were the order of the day.
Their actual day wedding celebration was an intimate affair with the Ivan and Kim having time to mingle with close friends and family, sometimes, it’s not the words spoken on the stage that matter, but what is done off the stage that really counts. Watching them waft from table to table spending time with the ones that matter was a joy to capture.
Here’s to an everlasting and beautiful life ahead Ivan and Kim.
